Dragon of Happiness- Knitted Lace

The Dragon of Happiness is the latest in a series of fantasy shawls, others in the set are the Heere Be Dragone shawl, the Flight of Fantasy Pegasus, Milady's Dream Unicorn ruana, and soon to be added Cedric, the Celtic dragon.
I have been knitting for more years than I care to count. Hand spun alpaca inspired me to try my hand at designing lace in 1998. Lace knitting has become my passion. My designs range from using traditional elements in non traditional ways to the, totally unique, Picture and Fantasy Shawls.
I find inspiration everywhere, from travel, from the world around me, from books I have read, and last but not least, from friends. Often the shawls themselves will talk to me, demanding certain shapes and background patterns. I love the challenge of designing a unique, elegant shawl.
