Silver Magnolias

Magnolias inspired by a local arboretum, worked in silver plated wire in bobbin lace techniques and Kumihimo. Piece is a table decoration, at approx 15 inches tall. I designed it whilst studying at college for City and Guilds Diploma in lacemaking. Having just completed a BA(Hons) in textile design, I am going to continue developing this style of lace on a MA programme next year.
