Svona is an object which might resemble a wing, a reference to a bird of previous fascination, but it also alludes to the possibility of transforming or becoming something else – a shadow, an impression of cloud or a suspended land formation.
This work entitled Svona, which in Icelandic can be understood to mean ‘this way’, is comprised of plastic cable ties, which have been woven and tied into a mass.
