Water, Water Everywhere

This image is a detail of the crocheted and beaded "foam" I created for my Water, Water Everywhere exhibit at the Physick House Museum in Philadelphia in February 2008.
This was the first time I'd used crochet work in my Fine art practice, as I typically used it in crafty mode. My mother taught me how, and I've just taught my daughter.
I like the versatility of fiber arts materials and techniques. The more techniques one knows the more experimental one can be with materials.
